Indeed, “Over the Rainbow“ was crowned the twentieth century’s best song by the American Film Institute in 2004, and his Hollywood musicals starring Judy Garland – most notably “The Wizard of Oz“ and “A Star Is Born“ – are lauded as masterpieces.
